Funny, action-packed coming of age story portrays *Lesseos *as an ex-marine trying to adjust to civilian life and discover her feminine side, with help from best friend Sophia. Many obstacles are thrown in her path, resulting in edge of your seat action scenes. Her love interest, Craig is sweet and soft-spoken but is intrigued with M.J.'s tough side, creating a hilarious dynamic duo that keeps us laughingwelltouches our hearts.
I like the premise and the characters (generally), but there's too much silly. With a little more sophisticated treatment, this could have been much better. And much funnier.<br/><br/>It was hard to suspend disbelief. Character motivation didn't make sense much of the time and a lot of the action felt contrived and artificial. A lot of the dialog was trivial. Vaudevillian.<br/><br/>MJ was OK, but Mimi was way too sweet and femmy (so was Craig). I cringed a few times<br/><br/>The "ladylike" Mimi could have come out of hypnosis with a memory of people and aware of the time line and her surroundings. It would have worked better, I think.<br/><br/>I liked Tom Sizemore. This was a risky role for him and he did it well (except for the above caveats).<br/><br/>I liked Mimi Lesseos in both roles. If I were the Coen Brothers or Donald Petrie I would cast her for the part.
There is nothing about this picture that works. The acting, the camera work, the setting, the audio, the lighting, the storyline…it all stinks. There really isn't a better way to put it. The first thing you'll notice is that it's filmed like a porno – and a cheap on at that. The camera(s) used seem like they could have been picked up at Wal-Mart. The main actress is absolutely dreadful. The amateurish manner in which she delivers her lines will drive you up a wall. And finally, what the heck is Tom Sizemore doing in this movie!? Yuck, 100% terrible. Do your part; help put this "film" into the bottom 100 where it belongs.
